  • PhD students (Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter/innen) with an MSc or Diploma in Computer Science (Informatik, or related), interested in research in cybersecurity, network and system security, privacy, or cloud security. These positions are funded by Technische Universität Darmstadt and the German Research Foundation (DFG).
  • Post-doctoral researchers with a Doctorate or PhD in Computer Science (Informatik, or related), interested in teaching and research in cybersecurity and privacy. These positions are funded by Technische Universität Darmstadt.

Fraunhofer Instiute for Secure Information Technology, Darmstadt:  Fraunhofer Society is Europe’s largest application-oriented research organization. Within Fraunhofer Society, Fraunhofer SIT is responsible for R&D in cybersecurity and privacy.



Center for Research in Security and Privacy (CRISP):  CRISP is a cybersecurity research center jointly established by Technische Universität Darmstadt, Fraunhofer SIT, Fraunhofer IGD and Hochschule Darmstadt. It is funded by the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) and the Hessisches Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst (HMWK).


Forum Privatheit: Das Forum Privatheit arbeitet an einem interdisziplinär fundierten, zeitgemäßen Verständnis der Rolle von Privatheit. Es werden Konzepte zur (Neu-)bestimmung und Gewährleistung informationeller Selbstbestimmung und des Privaten in der digitalen Welt entwickelt. Das Forum Privatheit wird gefördert vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF).
